Twenty years of engineering, applied to AI-assisted delivery

Gyrus Solutions is a software development company that has been shipping production systems since 2003. Across those two decades our engineers have worked at every level of the stack — from assembler and C, through C# and the .NET platform, to Rust — and across the data and infrastructure layers that keep such systems alive: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure management and system administration.

That background is the reason our AI-focused practice works. Directing an AI agent well requires knowing what a correct answer looks like before you see one.

AI-focused development, with a senior engineer holding the bar

We are an AI-focused development company, but not in the way the phrase is usually sold. We do not hand your project to an agent and forward you whatever comes back. Highly skilled senior developers orchestrate the AI agents and thoroughly control the results. An experienced engineer scopes the work, directs the agents, reads every line they produce, rejects what falls short, and personally signs off on what ships.

AI supplies throughput. The engineer supplies judgment. That division is what lets us deliver in a narrow time frame work that would traditionally take months — without the untested, over-abstracted, quietly broken code that unsupervised generation produces. Nothing reaches your repository unreviewed.

Who we work with

Small business owners come to us when something needs to be built, fixed or automated and hiring an in-house development team is neither affordable nor sensible. You get a team that has already solved the problem before, for the duration of the project only.

Mid-market executives come to us when the internal roadmap cannot absorb another initiative, or when a project has stalled and needs someone who can take it over and finish it. We report in plain language, on schedule, without requiring you to translate engineering status into business terms yourself.

We work remotely with clients in the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe. All work and communication is in English, with calls scheduled inside your working hours.

How we keep quality high while moving fast

Technology we work with

Languages: C#, .NET, Rust, C, assembler.
Data: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
Cloud & operations: Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure management, system administration, CI/CD, monitoring and backup strategy.
Delivery: AI agent orchestration under senior engineering review.

The breadth is deliberate. It means a problem can be followed from the user interface down to the query plan, the container runtime or the instruction stream, instead of stopping at the boundary of a single specialty. You can see the same range in the applications we build and publish ourselves.

Frequently asked questions

What does “AI-focused development” actually mean here?

Senior developers use AI agents as tooling and remain fully accountable for the output. You are buying engineering judgment amplified by AI, not raw AI output with an invoice attached.

How can you deliver quickly without quality dropping?

Speed comes from AI handling the mechanical volume of the work. Quality comes from the review layer above it. Engineers with twenty years of production experience recognize a plausible-looking but wrong solution immediately. Generation is fast; acceptance is strict.

What is “AI slop” and how do you avoid it?

AI slop is code that compiles and demos well but is untested, over-abstracted, insecure or subtly wrong — the standard result of unsupervised generation. We avoid it by never shipping unreviewed output.

Do you work with small businesses, or only large companies?

Both. Small business owners hire us instead of building an internal team; mid-market executives hire us when their own roadmap is full or a project needs rescuing.

Which technologies do you work with?

Assembler, C, C#/.NET and Rust; MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL; Azure, Kubernetes, infrastructure management and system administration.

Where are your clients located?

Remote engagements across the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe, working in English.

Do we own the code?

Yes — source, configuration and documentation. We do not build dependencies on ourselves into what we deliver.
